The short version
We show you fuel prices. We don't sell your data, we don't run ad tracking, and we collect as little as the product needs to work.
Location
Your location is used to find nearby stations. In the browser it is requested only when you press "use my location" and is sent to our server solely as search coordinates. Postcode searches are geocoded via postcodes.io. We do not build location histories.
The iPhone app
If you enable price alerts, the app registers a push identifier (OneSignal subscription id) and, when signed in, your account id, together with your alert rules and an optional anchor location for area alerts. These are used only to evaluate and deliver the alerts you configured. Analytics are aggregate, IDFA-free, and contain no advertising identifiers.
Cookies
This website sets no advertising or third-party tracking cookies — which is why there is no cookie banner.
Data sources
Fuel prices come from the UK Government's open fuel price data scheme and participating retailers' open data feeds (Open Government Licence v3.0). Prices are always shown with the time they were reported.
